Barring outgoing calls. Procedure for making outgoing calls through a business PBX Possible problems when dialing a number

Modern gadgets and mobile phones have a number of additional functions that many users are not even aware of. For example: You do not want international or long-distance calls to be made from your number, due to the high cost of the tariff or for some other reason (random dialing or the pranks of a child). The solution to this problem is to use the function: " barring outgoing calls» in the phone itself or through your telecom operator.

There are several reliable and simple ways to disconnect, knowledge of which will help save money on communications.

Via the menu

Regardless of the country and company, this option is necessarily present in every device. The sequence looks like this:

  • settings;
  • challenges;
  • call barring.

In case of problems (different models may have minor differences), you should study the user manual that comes with the phone upon purchase. Or go to the manufacturer’s official website and find the necessary information there.

Setting a password

One of the most common ways to protect a gadget from unauthorized calls by strangers. Without entering a password, it is impossible to use the phone to make a call. At the same time, you can respond to incoming messages as usual. Very comfortably . You can call and negotiate with the person who found (stole) the phone and return it to the owner; he himself will not be able to use it without a password.

Restriction via operator

Some telecom operators offer restriction services to subscribers:

  • calls at a certain time
  • depending on location.

They all have a different focus, each company has its own special conditions, and their advantages should be understood separately and more thoroughly.

You can shutdown yourself using the commands

  • outgoing - * 33 * password#, disable - # 33 * password#;
  • international - * 331 * password#, disable - # 331 * password#;
  • the password is 0000 unless a custom four-digit code value is set.

If problems arise, you should contact the nearest operator’s office and, with the help of a manager, resolve them safely.

The safest thing is to choose the most convenient method for yourself and try it in practice. This way it will be better remembered and will always be useful in case of an unforeseen situation, not only for you personally, but also for your loved ones.

You can call your clients and colleagues from Telephony. Calls to colleagues within Telephony are free. The cost of calls to external numbers is determined by the tariff plan.

Calls from a personal phone

When you call a client directly from a personal phone, Telephony is not involved in call forwarding in any way, so such calls are not registered in it. Such calls will be charged at your carrier's regular rate.

To record conversations with clients, you need to call them from the web phone or from the Telephony mobile application.

Calls from the built-in phone in the browser (from the web background)

Note. To use Webphone, you must have a stable internet connection and your browser must support Flash version 10 or higher.

You can adjust the microphone and headphone volume ( button ).

Calls from a mobile application

Telephony has mobile applications for Android and iOS, with which you can make calls and work with tasks. When making calls from the application, you can choose the method of communication with the called party:

    call from a work number - the call is made through the mobile operator’s network, but your interlocutor sees the call from the company’s work number;

    call via softphone - the call is made via the Internet using Telephony, and your interlocutor sees the call from the company’s work number;

    call through a mobile operator - the call is made through the mobile operator’s network and is no different from a regular telephone call: Telephony does not take part in it, and the interlocutor sees the call from your personal (mobile) number.

The differences between calling methods are described in more detail in the table below:

Call via softphone From your work number In minutes of telephony Through the Internet

Read this article to the end and you will find out why you need to bar outgoing calls and how to enable it yourself. There are many practical applications for the Outgoing Call Barring service.

For example, you do not want outgoing long-distance or international calls to be made from your number (since the tariff is expensive) or you are afraid that your child will accidentally call the wrong person, etc. Everyone can decide for themselves why they should use this service. I'll tell you how to use this service.
There are several ways to enable Outgoing Call Barring:

In the phone menu - settings - calls - call barring. Depending on the manufacturer of the telephone, this point may be located in a different place, but for the most part it is there. If you have difficulty determining the location of this item, refer to the user manual (you can find it in the phone box or on the Internet).

Outgoing calls can be blocked using universal (for any operator) commands. To do this, dial the appropriate command on your phone and press the call key. List of commands at the end of the article.

Another way to protect your phone from unwanted outgoing calls is to set a password on your phone. Without knowing the password, you won’t be able to make an outgoing call, but you can receive incoming calls (convenient in case of theft/loss of the phone, since this device will no longer be particularly valuable, but you can get a reward for it). By the way, on some phones you can set a password for outgoing calls, that is, you can enter the phone menu, but you cannot make a call without a password. One of my friends found an interesting use of this function - he asked his wife, before going to the bar, to set a password for outgoing calls, so as not to call someone while drunk :)
Some operators offer services to restrict outgoing calls - for example, you can limit calls at a certain time, by duration, by the territory from which the call is made, etc. and so on. These multifaceted services have a specific focus, each operator functions in its own way, so I will not describe it in detail in this article.

There are not many options to block outgoing calls

As for incoming calls, after all, we buy a phone to make calls, so that’s all. If the article was interesting to you, please leave a comment.

To set outgoing call barring using commands, type:

*33*password#—bar all outgoing calls (default password is 0000), disable—#33*password#

*331*password# — barring international calls, disconnecting — #331*password#

There are three types: calls to established clients (so-called service calls), calls to potential clients and cold calls. Let's go from simple to complex.
Service calls
These are calls to clients who have already brought you money at least once. The purpose of such calls is to maintain a relationship with the client to renew the card. It is recommended to make service calls:
  • 7-14 days after opening the club card;
  • one month after opening the club card;
  • 3 months after opening the club card;
  • if the client does not visit for a long time (if such control is carried out in your company);
  • one month before the card expires;
  • congratulations on your birthday and, if possible, on other holidays;
  • invitation to various events at the club, taking into account the interests of the client.
If the purpose of a call a month before the card expires is obvious - to talk about renewing the card, then other calls may raise the question: why? Everything is simple here! Having bought a card, the client can start regularly going to school, and then we will have excellent grounds for talking about renewal in a year. But there may be another option: the client came to the club once and didn’t like something. And let's remember that when coming to the club for the first time (the first few times), the client is in a state of stress - he is in a new place, there are new people around him, he knows no one and nothing. Remember yourself when you went to work on the first day - was there any discomfort? It’s great if there is someone in your club who will meet the client and show him attentiveness and cordiality, but what if not? He can easily refuse further trips to the club to ensure his comfort, or rather, to avoid discomfort.
Another reason for not visiting the club may be low motivation and, as a result, reasons such as “no time”, “no suitable clothes”, “parking there is inconvenient”, etc. In this case, a person finds reasons not to go to the club, and over time he forgets about fitness forever. What will you be talking about with these clients in a year?
To avoid such situations, you definitely need to call the client and ask if everything is in order, what they like and what they don’t. Be sure to offer your help if the client does not know or cannot do something (for example, he does not dare to undergo training). It’s even better to clarify before calling how often this client visits, if such statistics are kept.
The timing of these calls is determined by the so-called “crisis periods”, when customer “dumps” are most likely. If your company uses a CRM system (Customer Relationship Management System), set reminders in it. If there is no such system, we recommend that after completing the transaction, you make notes about calls on the appropriate dates in the registration sheets.
Of course, the category of service calls also includes congratulations on your birthday and other holidays. And if we have long been accustomed to birthday congratulations and often do not pay attention to them (if it is an SMS message), then congratulations on professional holidays or other significant dates will always once again please your client!
Invitations to events are a worthy reason for extraordinary contact and a show of care for the client.
Usually club members have a very positive attitude towards such invitations. Exceptions may be absurdities when you invite an older lady to a bodybuilding competition, and a regular visitor to the gym to ballet.

When can we use a function such as outgoing call barring? Even at first glance, such situations are not so rare. For example, you bought your little child his first cell phone so that he could know where he was. However, our child can accidentally call some “hotline for adults” for $10 a minute and cause serious damage to the family budget. Or you have a grandmother who always wants to contact her school friend in another country every day and talk for an hour. Or maybe you yourself, while roaming, don’t want to accidentally call home.

General methods

Let's look at the methods by which you can bar an outgoing call. Let’s immediately decide that it’s worth separating this feature, which applies to the phone as a whole, and a separate SIM card. In the first case, settings are made in the settings of the communicator itself. To activate call barring (outgoing calls), most often it is enough to dial the combination **33*phone password#. The required code is set separately, in most cases in the menu items: “Settings” - “Security”, and, accordingly, “Phone Password”. You need to remember that it is different from the SIM card code and is a separately configurable function. After entering this combination, you will not be able to make outgoing calls at all. Now let's tell you how to disable outgoing call barring. To do this, just dial the following combination: #33*phone password#. You can check the status of the ban using the command *#33#. In addition, all mobile operators provide the Outgoing Call Barring service. Using this innovation, you get the opportunity to completely block outgoing calls or selectively disable international calls or roaming. Now let's look at the outgoing call barring functions of the most common
