The lumia 920 unlock code cannot be entered. How to recover a forgotten Microsoft account or lock screen password. Hard reset

When we buy a mobile phone, we all want to spend as little money as possible on it. We begin to go to various stores, mobile phone stores, even visit “electronic” bazaars, etc. We begin to shop around and look for the place where a specific device model has the lowest cost. As a rule, a phone sold through a cellular operator’s branded store has this price, provided that simultaneously with its purchase, you enter into an agreement to use this device only on its network. Moreover, the phone is sold locked for a specific network and, naturally, any of us has the question of how to get rid of such a lock.

In this article we want to tell you exactly about this, i.e. give an answer to this question in relation to the Nokia Lumia 920 phone. Next, we will tell you how to unlock the Nokia Lumia 920.

How to “free” (unlock) Nokia Lumia 920?

In order for reading this article to be of the greatest benefit to you, so that you do not study all the materials available on the network about the possibilities and methods by which unlocking the Lumia 920 is provided, we will describe the method on the basis of the service of the same name provided by the site IMEI-Server.ru , which you can use if you visit the link provided.

In anticipation of your question about the reliability of the recommended web resource and its described service, we want to say that you can trust this resource. Moreover, we even recommend this site to you, because with its help, Lumia 920 unlocking is carried out officially. At the same time, going to the given web address will allow you to solve questions and difficulties not only with the described mobile phone, not only with the specified model, but also with many other devices. The employees of this service have been practicing unlocking various models of smartphones, communicators and mobile phones from various operators from around the world for many years.

Using the link provided, you will not only receive an answer to the question of how to unlock a Nokia Lumia 820, but also the opportunity to effectively, and most importantly - officially, unlock your Nokia Lumia 920. The procedure for “releasing” your phone is carried out using a code that is determined by the imei identifier gadget. Also, we focus on the fact that you will only have to unlock the Nokia Lumia 920 through the code once. Those. You will place an order for the code once, and after that the unlock will have the status of “eternal”.

Ordering a code to unlock Nokia Lumia 920

In order to unlock Lumiya 920 and do it quickly, conveniently and extremely simply, you only need the phone's imei code. Most likely, you already know what this identifier is and how to find it. If not, we remind you that it is programmed in the device’s memory, from where it is called up using a specially designed combination (often *#06#), or is written on the device itself under its battery.

The most important reason for the attractiveness and prevalence of this method, which allows you to unlock the Nokia Lumia 920, is that the unlock code is entered on the device only once. At the same time, the lock from the device is completely removed, which makes it possible to fully use it in any country in the world, in any cellular network, and the unlock will be eternal.

Plus, you can safely reflash the device, install new versions of the mobile “axis” on it, etc.

In the end, we would like to draw your attention once again to the fact that an order for a code that allows you to unlock a Nokia Lumia 920 must be placed indicating the name code of the communicator. This means that you need to read it very carefully and write it accordingly, so as not to make a mistake that will lead to an incorrect determination of the unlock combination specifically for your communicator.

The popular Nokia Lumia 920 smartphone is attracting the attention of more and more users. Its appearance leaves an ambiguous feeling, but that’s the point. The combination of two opposites gives this gadget originality. It is not endowed with patterns or other decorative elements, everything is clear and tasteful. Nokia Lumia 920 looks very neat and simple. It is the minimalism of this device that attracts the attention of people passing by. Beneath the stylish shell lies good hardware; the manufacturer has brought only the best to the smartphone. Nokia Lumia 920 runs on the Windows 8 platform. According to the terms of the contract, you must use the services of the proposed operator exclusively for a specified period of time. There won’t be much choice, because the Nokia Lumia 920 mobile phone is simply locked to AT&T USA and does not see other SIM cards. Don’t let this situation scare you, because there is a way out of it. Using the services of a trusted site, you can easily unlock Nokia Lumia 920 from the US ATT operator. Once you visit the site, be sure to register. An email with an activation link will be sent to the specified email address. Follow it to confirm your profile.

Now you need to top up your balance to purchase the unlock Nokia Lumia 920 service. Go to the product page. There you will find a brief description of the proposed service, as well as deadlines and costs. We top up the account with the amount indicated on the product pages. This can be done using any payment system offered on the site. There are several of them so that each user can use the method that is more convenient for him.

When the funds have been transferred to the balance, you need to return to the product and fill out the order fields at the bottom of the page. If you enter some data incorrectly, for example, IMEI, then the Nokia Lumia 920 will not be unlocked. The funds will leave the account, but the code to remove the blocking will not be received from the operator.

If you are sure that the entered data is correct, then place an order so that the Nokia Lumia 920 AT&T USA unlocking begins. If you did everything correctly, then within the period specified by the order, you will receive a letter with a code to remove the blocking to the previously specified email address. Now just enter the received code on your phone and you're done! In this case, unlocking Nokia Lumiya is completed successfully. EFR CODEC (Enhanced Full Rate)
This feature, when enabled, should, in theory, significantly improve the quality of transmitted speech, but, unfortunately, it must be supported by the cellular operator. When it works, the phone's power consumption during talk time increases slightly (about 5%). As far as we know, none of the Russian mobile operators support this function. The principle is based on a different speech compression algorithm (ACELP) and occupies a wider frequency band.
*4720# - enable Half Rate Codec (HFR)
#4720# - disable Half Rate Codec (HFR)
HR CODEC (Half Rate)
Significantly degrades speech quality, but saves battery by about 30%. Again, must be supported by your cellular operator.

Questions and comments about secret codes for Nokia Lumia 920

Ask a question regarding Nokia Lumia 920 secret codes

Let's look at how to reset your Nokia Lumia 920 to factory settings.

This article is not a guide to action. All responsibility for the service of your device lies with you.

Hard reset

If your phone experiences a hardware failure, it is recommended to first perform a hard reset to factory settings. This does not erase your Windows Live ID account settings or user data.
Since this phone model does not allow the user to remove the battery independently, it has a special electronic circuit that turns off the power to the phone when certain buttons are pressed.

To perform a hard reset, press and hold the Volume Down and Power buttons for 5 seconds. The phone screen will turn black (the phone will turn off). Then press the phone's power button.

Soft reset/
A soft reset through the operating system returns the phone to the state it was just purchased.

ATTENTION! When performing this procedure, all user data will be erased!
The first thing you should always do is try a hard reset.

Option 1: via menu

This option can be used if you know the lock code.

  • Select Menu > Settings > About product > Restore default settings (Settings > About > reset your phone)
  • Then you will need to enter the lock code.

Option 2: via secret button combination

This option can be used if the phone is locked and you do not know the lock code.

Step 1
Make sure your phone is turned off. Press and hold the Volume Down and Power buttons until an exclamation mark appears on your phone screen.

Step 2

Use the following button combination:
1. volume up button
2. volume down button
3. power button
4. volume down button

Step 3

The phone's settings will be reset and it will turn on automatically.

Sometimes it happens that the phone bricks or freezes (gears spin) for a long time. To get the phone out of this state, you can reflash it according to the instructions “”, or take it to an official Nokia service center, where they should reflash it for you free of charge.
